Where's my Bloody Mary?

And i still can remember those days of yonder when the sun used to still rise in the east and set in the west, and the world was colourful and the grasses green... There weren't no economic crisis and one woke up each day NOT feeling as if this was your last day in Qatar...

Not that these events aren't happening anymore. But QL has changed, like it will when an idea grows to encompass more people within itself...

Some changes were for the good, while others, for bad. I made new friends and lost a few...Through it all, this site has come to be a part of me.

Sitting back and thinking quietly, I can clearly demarcate my time in Doha as BQL and AQL (Before QL and After QL, hehe). I've learned things and then I've learned things. I really don't think I'd have been the same had i not come across something like QL...

How the nameless and faceless Qatari started this site (I'm quite chauvinistic here in thinking that Qatari IS A HE. I know that the term Qatari could denote either male or female. I'm taking the liberty to think that Qatari is indeed a man) and how he built it into Qatar's most visited indigenous site is stuff that legends are made of.

Qatari, I have no idea who you are, which nationality you belong to or why you go on putting up this site as a free space to express one's thoughts. If ever i meet you, I'd like to come across and get you in a giant, tight, Russian style bear hug.

You made this country much more happening for me. You may not realise the enormity, but innumerable people have benefited from this site. I really hope you go on doing what you do best - make this site the best.

Like Tall said, let's see if this site becomes the best site ever in Qatar (Do i see Google scampering for cover?)...

You go, brother! more power to you!
