QTel freedom of speech policy should be driven by some kind of Qatar Freedom of Speech Act. However, I do not think it’s the case as it allows the respective site to be visited along with many others, but restricts access to sites such as www.qatarsucks.com
In my personal view – there should be no sensor on any site except adult/ child pornographic materials and sites. Rest of the decision should be left to the citizens. By not visiting a site, we are proofing our point. For adult site – they are visual – and our kids are vulnerable to such explicit visual images just by hitting a few buttons or clicks.
