As I read one of his friends is going to pay for his insurance. Alexa he is trying to show us that we are destroying earth day by day and making it less worth for living. Like we could produce much less garbage, we could live with much less water and so on. Did you watch Wall-E? If not recommend you to watch it. Sure anime and imaginary but nice one to remind us to care about our world. :)
