Those kids, regardless of where they come from and how their parents behave, would benefit a lot from character education lessons, where tolerance, respect of self and others, citizenship and many other values will be instilled to children at early stages of character development. Unfortunatly, many schools favor prestigious curriculum, high achievement, A scores in all disciplines.. but forget that money and grades do not make human beings... it's the values we have to transmit to future generations that will make a difference... till then, we'll still see kids and adults spitting, harassing, fighting...
