1) Health Card QR.100/- per worker per annum (which is issued only after their RP is stamped and ID Card issued. Till then if unfortunately the worker takes ill all private medical expenses are to his personal account i.e. any time nothing less than QR.200 to QR.300/- from his monthly wage of QR.540 - QR.600 per month)
2) For the food the workers pay between QR.100 to QR.150 per month (some exceptions with some decent companies where food is on house)
3) Insurance u talk about WORKMEN COMPENSATION INSURANCE
..which is dirt cheap...say QR.2 - 3 PER WORKER PER MONTH
4) transportation where workers have to wait for hours both to & fro and vehicles are not air - conditioned imagine will you sit in these kind of buses in this SCORCHING SUMMER.
YES rentals everywhere are increasing and so are the project cost and the bidded price.....so why not benefits passed on to the workers ???????
