I've been trying to find nice shoes here too... it ain't easy... =P

I've seen ShoeMart at CityCentre and CentrePoint... rather big stores... with relatively cheap shoes..

I've seen the below designs around for flat shoes..

- canvas material, round-toe shoes, v loud / retro designs...

- leather ballet flats

- sequin ballet flats

- straw-woven flats with tie-around at ankle

I have yet to see anything to my liking, but hope this helps you~~ =) 

Oh.. or you can try Villagio.. Zara should have some flats.. and there are other clothes shops there with limited shoe range... forgot if I saw any flats at H&M...
