Getting a birth Certificate in India is not a big deal, get one of your relatives to get a certificate at your local municipal office, get it notarised and have it sent here.

Then get the Indian Embassy here to certify it. IF you have your baby's passport, you should not have a problem as long as the dates match and the mothers name is the same.
