I'm working there too. I know very little about the whole operation, apart from a 30 min chat with the Head of the Secondary Department(who seemed like a capable guy) and their contracts guy in London.

My understanding is that enrollment has started and is proceeding quite fast. There have been 32 teachers employed in the Secondary Department. They will arrive in August for a September start. The two schools being opened are part of a development which will include a series of schools. Most of the other buildings will also be finished in September, and will be given over for use by the local schools until such times as enrollment at the QP is sufficient to justify their use.

I have just taken the medical, and am awaiting the results before finalising the contract. The only thing that is really puzzling me is the living arrangements. At interview, I was told that I would live in QP housing, but I note on the contract that I will only get this for 4 months, before being given an allowance to find my own. From what I gather from others here, the allowance of 4000 a month is insufficient to allow me to find a place. I will probably wait until after the medical before contacting QP with any more queries.
