How could a resident permit be Qatar airways visa?! Here i am reposting again:

FIRST POSTING

Was just wondering when is the right time to apply for wife's residence
visa extension. Mine will be taken care of by my employer but my wife's
visa needs to be taken care of by me as i'm her sponsor.

How many days before the expiration date should we file in for
extension?We'll be going for holiday and we hope to be back 10 days
before her residence runs out. Is that ok?

In the other countries(not Middle east/Gulf)where we've lived,we
could file in forb residence visa extension a day or a week after the
expiration.

All responses,contributions,advice will be highly appreciated.

SECOND POSTING

If the residence permit is renewed in advance(say one month before expiration),will the previous one be cancelled?

What documents are needed for renewal?
