This is great fun.  I love it when people get so emotional...

Miss Scarlett,

"I know what I know from research and experience"

Do please share that research and experience with us.

"learn basic meterology"

Actually, I have.  Have you?  This statement implies that you have.  I think you are making stuff up.  For example, let's discuss the issue of the ozone hole that you brought up.

Apparently your "research and experience" hasn't taught you that there is no permanent hole in the ozone layer and no ozone shortage. Ozone is repeatedly created and destroyed by the interaction of ultraviolet radiation with oxygen molecules. In the stratosphere (10 to 40 km above the Earth's surface) several tons of ozone are produced every second.

The amount of ozone present at any given time depends on many things, primarily the amount of ultraviolet radiation reaching the stratosphere, which in turn depends upon latitude, solar cycle, and season. Concentrations of ozone vary drastically from one day to the next, sometimes by as much as 50 percent, depending on the weather.  Ozone holes are natural reactions to UV light variations. Ozone levels are also affected by the amount of volcanic matter in the stratosphere. Each volcanic eruption emits roughly a thousand times the amount of ozone depleting chemicals, Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), than all of man has ever produced. One volcano - boom!

So if you are worried about ozone holes there is literally NOTHING you can do about them.  Kill every person on the planet and it would have no effect on ozone holes.

"You made me laugh with your simple comments...no, CO2 is not what I was speaking of..its the exhaust of cars, carbon monoxide, exhaust from plastics plants, air conditioner coolants such as freon, etc that are pollution"

Well, you didn't specify what you were referring to.  I thought we were talking about global warming??  Now you're changing the subject.  Global warming is all about CO2 - nothing else.  Apparently you aren't aware but the two primary bi-products of hydrocarbon combustion are CO2 and H2O, a.k.a. carbon dioxide and water!  So since we're talking about global warming the only relevant "pollutant" is CO2.  Again, your "research and experience" is failing to impress me.

"And what's this BS about the US keeping 3rd world countries from having electricity???"

Here is a quote: "The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States: We can't let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the U.S.  We have to stop these Thrid World countries right where they are." - Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund

Here are is some factual reading for you...

The attacks against the third world are all too real.  They are being forced to use expensive light bulbs, solar power, etc.  Environmental regulations are preventing them from building steel and other large industries required for development.  And these regulations do not come from within, they are imposed by the U.N., USA, E.U., etc.  It comes in the form of bribing corrupt dictators.  It comes in the form of aid with environmental regulation strings attached.  This is fact.

"can you say conspiracy theory or paranoid maniac??"

Ok, then please explain what's going on all over the world.

Most recently the incandescent light bulb was banned in the USA.  Starting in 2012 the incandescent light bulb will be illegal in the United States of America.  The American Revolution was started over a 2% tax on just tea!!!!  Now we are losing the freedom to use a perfectly good light bulb.  This is a very slippery slope.  Sure, this light bulb in of itself might not be that big of a deal.  But it's the fact that in the name of "global warming" we have lost this small amount of freedom.  And it certainly doesn't start or stop with that.  And people don't seem to understand how far-reaching the affects of just this is.  Sure, it's just an incandescent light bulb.  But you know what, there is a WHOLE INDUSTRY behind the incandescent light bulb.  That industry has to a large extent been federalized.  The end results are the same.

As history has shown time and time again this will come back to bite us in a very big way.  The "global warming" movement is on the forefront of socializing the world.  They want to eradicate private property, nationalize all the private industries, regulate child birth to decrease the world population, and force a marxist-style "green" utopia on everyone.

It's quote time.  Let's see what the activists are saying.

"Climate change (provides) the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world."  "No matter if the science is all phony, there are still collateral environmental benefits" to global warming policies. - Christine Stewart, Canada's former environmental minister.

"To capture the public imagination, we have to offer up some scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements and little mention any doubts one might have.  Each of us has to decide the right balance between being effective and being honest." - Stephen Schneider, lead 2007 UN IPCC report author and climate change alarmist.

"Phasing out the human race will solve every problem on earth, social and environmental." - Dave Forman, founder of Earth First

Kyoto is the "first component of an authentic global governance." - Jacques Chirac, the president of France

"Giving society cheap, abundant energy...would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun." - Paul Ehrlich, environmentalist, current president of Center for Conservation Biology at Stanford

"If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to Earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels." - Prince Phillip, World Wildlife Fund

"Every time someone dies as a result of floods in Bangladesh, an airline executive should be dragged out of his office and drowned." - George Monbio, environmentalist author

"Free enterprise really means rich people get richer.  They have the freedom to exploit  and psychologically rape their fellow human beings in the process... Capitalism is destroying the earth."  "Every time you turn on an electric light, you are making another brainless baby." - Helen Caldicott, Union of Concerned Scientists
