I'd just like to say that I agree entirely with Hippo's comments about sleep and diet. When my daughter started school in the UK, bedtime was 7 pm. There, the school day began at 8.45 am. School starts earlier in Doha so to achieve the same amount of sleep, young children need to be in bed at 6 pm. Lack of sleep is a major hindrance to learning and parents need to take this issue seriously.
Don't get me started on the rubbish that some of them have in their lunch boxes.
