It's easy to get a family visiting visa which is extendible up to 6 months, but the problem when you apply to change it to be a residence family visa. It depends on many things such as:
1- Your nationility
2- Your job title
3- Your monthly income
4- The place you are working for (your sponsor)
If your company has a Mandoob (the employee who is responsible for the company legal proceedings before the governmental departments here) he can work in that as it's part of his duty (but you have to promise him some money to encourage him to make it quickly).
If not you have to do that by your own. Anyway the requirements are:
1- A legalized marriage contract.
2- A house rent contract.
3- A copy of an electricity bill of your residential flat.
4- A bank account statement for the last 6 months.
5- No Objection letter from your sponsor says that he doesn't mind you to bring your wife under a family residence visa.
6- A family residence visa request application form.
