Too much to read but here is a theory;

Lots of things around us can be explained and catagorized by us but many things can't, so where do we catagorize them?

For instance, I think we all agree that atoms exist, but why do they pull themselves into a suitable composite form to make a human being [for instance] and constantly re-form into replacement bits and bobs to keep the form working?

Only to shut the form down and all break up then go and form other things, for no particular reason?

We don't know why so we say it is the working of some higher bieng.

If you believe in natural selection and the evolution of species or not there is a strong case for it, but how does some thing evolve an eye from where there was no eye before?

It is beyond our understanding, so it must be the work of a higher bieng,.

Shouldn't it?

As for the rules, I believe they are the work of high ranking individuals in past civilisations who want to offer guidence and order to otherwise chaotic settlements of people.

Of they tried to impose the rules as their own there would be difficulties in enforcement.

But if the rules are from the higher being then who could argue with them?

It's a bit like my Mrs telling the kids they had better do as they are told or Dad will be annoyed when he gets home.

I'm sure those ancient authors of the various beeks genuinly believed in what they were doing and I admire them for it, but who can say it was the word of God?

They will recount instances of God talking to people and asking for his word to be passed on.

My nephew is a paranoid schizophrenic and hears voices in his head all the time, could this be the same thing?

Call me Maninibat!
