You could try Gold jewellery - If you want really cheap gold then you have to fly home via Dubai -where you can get cheap watches and jewellery. If you do not have the time or opportunity to go to via Dubai, then go down to the gold Souq in Doha and buy her a nice gift there but be prepared to haggle.
The classic perfumes are cheapish going through duty free, but are much cheaper in Abu Dhabi Duty free than they are here.
Gifts for children is difficult, since you will know their ages, likes and dislikes better than anyone on QL. i am from Ireland and believe it or not the Wii is cheaper here than in Dublin (well most things are actulally cheaper here than in Dublin) but it is 6 years since i liven in my native UK so i couldnt say what the comparative price is like between Doha and UK.
