Congrats on your engagement, but I'm sorry for the logistical ordeal it must be to try to have a Christian marriage in Doha... Since Qatar doesn't "recognize" most of the churches here, there aren't too many pastors around. Maybe the Episcopal church? I know they have a priest. (I'm not sure if they would do it, just a guess, I think their # is in the Marhaba)...

Anyway, one thing you want to consider, is the laws of your own country. A friend of mine had a problem being married here because she didn't follow the rules of her own country and they actually didn't recognize the marriage (which became a problem when she and her husband had a baby here and wanted to get him a passport, but that's an other story!)... So, I would suggest calling your embassy and finding out what requirements they have for your marriage to be recognized in your own country. Since I see you are from Canada, I imagine it won't be a huge problem, but best to check just in case.
