I'm only minding about something that if it was only about a week from the day you bought it, perhaps you must got some warranty from the place you bought it.

However,I've heard some place where they could repair such things kind of ipod, mobile phone, iphone and so on,,they were placed at the road along al-sadd plaza I guess,or somewhere on the road to the 'Center Point'. still I'm not sure they're still there but you better check it out yourself.
