I feel sorry for anyone injured in an accident (especially if they're a biker) but was it a freak accident or an accident caused by incompetent driving (either by the biker or another road user)?
That might sound a bit inconsiderate but having ridden motorbikes for almost 40 years, qualified and worked as a Motorcycle Instructor and raced for 15 years.........there's seldom a freak motorcycle accident. There's normally a cause and here in Doha it's more likely to be the inability of people to read the road conditions, a lack of consideration for other road users, impatience or plain incompetence.
