If you have stairs, you will want to have a carpenter custom install baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. Ask around or maybe post a question here for recommendations. I looked for gates for about a year in Doha, but not the kind for stairs, just for doors. I found some at BabyShop (try the one at Centerpoint, they seem to have the best stock) and Mothercare. I bought mine a year ago, so I can't say for sure if they are in stock. Baby stuff goes out of stock here for a long time!
You can get random baby proofing stuff at most baby stores. Just keep looking. I have found outlet covers, table corners and safety locks. I found some at Boots in Villagio as well.
