I work in the logistics field and can tell you we have an extremely hard time getting work visas approved for females. I'm not sure what the reason is, but most of our applications get rejected at least 5 or 6 times before being approved by the government, if at all. You might want to focus your search with positions that are "normally" filled by women, I don't want to sound sexist but if the government doesn't approve the visa requests for women in those jobs; most companies aren't going to spend their time recruiting or interviewing you.
