oh my - I keep typing loads of stuff in this little box to say how much I owe to QL, but I then delete it cos I'm starting to sound hysterical! lol
suffice to say, this forum has given me the ability to say that within 5 weeks of moving to Doha I can now walk into a shopping mall and actually bump into some I met through this forum (as I did today).

I cant remember being able to say the same of any other country I've lived in. the other plus is all the information which people are willing to give out on where to go, shop, eat, and much more.
it's taken time to build up this community and I can't see it falling down.
ok - so go 'chat' in other forums, but don't ever say that QL isnt an establishment - cos it is! and I, for one, cant see it dying unless those who created it choose to close it.
