.. I was educated at a Convent School and have often smiled to myself that the reason I feel quite at home around abyas and veils is because I was surrounded by nuns wearing floor length black habits (white on high days and holy days), with long veils pinned to their heads, throughout my formative years.
There are still many sects/religions which require people to cover their heads when entering a place of worship. Not just women.. men also.
Ha! Just a thought .. heads covered, but feet exposed? Now what's THAT all about!
