1. Well rabbits and guinea pigs make good pets….especially if you have young children.
Bird's are lovely, but be careful if you have cat's. Depending what type of animals you like, you can have turtles, lizards, spiders even. I had a turtle that used to play with my cat…LOL…
2. They do use dogs for hunting in many places. Beagles are very popular because of their natural ability to hunt.
3. Cat's and dogs are generally cheap. Vet cost for vaccinations and check ups are the most expensive, but other than that, it's not expensive. Dogs are more expensive as they eat more, training school, toys, leashes, grooming.
4. Don’t know what food you're talking about unless you're talking about Whiskas! Ah, no humans shouldn’t consume this….is mainly horse…
5. The costs vary from place to place; at home I have about 140 riyal a visit, here a little less.
6. Anyone who likes company, loyalty, and wants a companion can own a dog. It will honestly change your life owning a pet. They are so much fun. I love coming home after work with my darlings waiting for me at the door, climbing on my lap and curling up with me at night.
Dogs especially are so much fun, very playful; they will be loyal for life. However it takes time training a dog and you need time and patience.
Cats are a lot more independent than dogs. If you're thinking of getting a cat, I recommend getting a male as they are friendlier and more like a dog.
When you lose a pet it is tragic and just like losing a family member or friend.
Remember a pet is for life, they are not here for our amusement!
