I've tried to approach the issue of religous postings in QL in a hollistic manner. But it seems its not working.
I asked the four main groups (not intended to offend anyone through the classification) to maintains specific conduct when it come to discussing or reacting to spiritual issues. All QL Members to observe R rules; Muslims not to start it; Non Muslims not to insult and expect negative reaction; and Atheists to keep off. I still believe the combination works well.
I do respect the effort of people like SAUD to be cool and focused without loosing temper but SAUD this doesn't work here. I want to win you, but I think you need to use 'contemporary' language to talk about Islam.
I know i have the right to start a thread and don't have the right to end it, otherwise i would just stop this thread here since it already served the purpose. But I feel i have the right to plead QL members to maintain the spirit shown in this thread when it comes to religous issues.
Genesis, you're an 'enlightened' qatari guy. You actually qualify the prize to visit America, Canada and other places. Because thats what available. SAUD doesn't have the knowledge of the new enlightened Islam. Its 2007 model.
