I have been advised to make this decision now .As my kid is in Grade 8 currently ,and some of educationist i have spoken in present school suggest British system is better even if they have one extra year it makes child specialize in direction .But other suggest if we have make her study in US its better to make this change now as later around grade 10 she may find it difficult to cope up Aerican sys .So really dont know ,we are moving to Doha by end of this month.
