i dont know much about the career opportunities in ur field so cant advise in that department. the grocery prices are more or less the same(may be slightly cheaper in abu dhabi) than in Doha, whereas petrol is almost double in UAE. Electricity and water bills will also be higher there, not to mention the total absence of parking spaces especially free parking spaces.all these will significantly add to ur expenses.
the good thing is, u will not be stuck in one city(as we r in doha) instead, on weekends, u can go to dubai , sharjah, hatta or khorfakkan if u like.
