I suggest you talk to HSBC, but I would say no - they will not let you do this. HSBC Qatar is not a division of a larger mulit-national corportation, they are their own entity. I wanted to link HSBC Qatar with a HSBC account in my home country but was told they have no relationship with each other. In other words HSBC Qatar will want their money before you leave, regardless of who you bank with back home.
