It was so long ago - probably around 10 years ago. I worked at the golf club (general HR) and Qatar airways (although this was a combined role - general HR role and recruitment). I think HR in Doha has probably come a long way since then ;o)
I enjoy HR but I think that I'd really like to get into consulting.. I don't know what the chances of this would be in Qatar - not great I presume, so maybe I should be looking here in the UK too.
I'm really just trying to assess the situation there at the moment before I decide on a definite course of action.
