Sami, All jobs have jobs description associated with them. When you have applied for the job, you must have done it after reading the description of the job as there are various areas of experties in IT. If you can paste the job description that you saw when you applied for the position, I can provide you better advice. Now, The site interview has mostly two or three parts in it.
1. On the first day You will be going to meet a techincal panel of people who will ask you about techincal aspect of your job. This is very similar to any techincal interview in US or Canada. This will also include an explaination of what you will be doing in that job and some technical questions. It's not that you will have to give any test or provide any specific command.
You may also see IT manager after the technical interview.
2. On the second day, you may first go for a medical test or will first go to meet HR personal and they will explain the package that is generally offered to this position. By this time, HR must have received a feed back from the people who conducted your interview on the first day and based on the input from them, HR will offer you a tentative package. You can negotiate with them but it generally does not make much difference.
You will then be sent for medical which will include a blood test, urine test, some cardio etc.
After returning home, depending upon your interview, you will get an offer letter from QP HR.
