to be honest buddy 500GB have only just became main stream, pretty new, so wont be here just yet :(
but like everyone says, these hard disks arent really good for pocket hard drives, due to the vibrations, they tend to become corrupt and damaged fairly easily so just make sure if u are putting important stuff onit, u have some sort of backup plan in store
so if u get a 500GB then u should try get a 500GB 3.5 drive, and if possible 2 x 500 GB 3.5 inch drives, that offers complete redundancy , to almost RAID spec.
