If you have comprehensive insurance you can claim the insurance. You will have to pay the deductible though. However if you have 3rd party only you're out of luck as there was no other car involved.
You do have to file a police report and get a repair authorization certificate.
If you do need to go to the police contact me via email and I'll put you in touch with a decent officer at Madinat Khalifa traffic. That's where you'll have to go, or to the Airport branch.
