:^) Don't take it so personally, I am not arguing with you. I am learning quite a lot!
What do you think? If God knew about the time zones and that people live in the extreme North and South, then the God surely wouldn't order people to fast from morning to evening... for 6 months. Right? Or, alternatively, God would provide separate instructions for those people (there are none, however). It's unfair for Muslims in Saudi to fast for 10-11 hours, whereas in Norway they would have to fast for 14-15 hours, don't you think? The day in the Middle East doesn't last as long as it does further North, or further South from the equator.
And Quran in Arabic - nobody is able to understand it without teaching and guidance of "professionals who have dedicated their lives to research and the understanding of the book" - clearly, it's not the God's word that you learn, but the opinion of those professionals, because how would you know that what they researched is, indeed, the God's message?
I firmly believe in people's right to believe anything they want, any religion or concept or principle - as long as following it doesn't harm anybody. So I am not going to comment here again, it makes no sense, I will not change my opinion and I have no intention of changing yours. I respect all the views.
