• Commissioning of Cargo Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, Hydro-phore Systems, Engine Related System (Fuel Oil, Lube Oil & Sea Water Cooling),Hi-Fog/Water Mist System, C02 System (safety system).
• Execution of the Pipe Welding Procedure Tests (WPS), Welder Tests, etc. to initiate the production on- going and also Inspection of Fabrication, Erection, Final Fitment of spools.
• Maintenance of pipe fabrication records, various pipe tests, material inspections, coordinating with inspection authorities (QC, Owners/ surveyor) and relevant documentation.
• Performing time study and process study for continuous improvement of processes at pipe fabrication workshop.
• Ensuring that “Safe systems of work" and "Safe conditions" are in place within area of responsibility with proper work area permits including job inspections.
• To supervise and carry out effective implementation of weekly/monthly production schedule to meet the company targets.
• Identify training requirements for subordinates & provides suitable training guidance of safety.
• Coordinate and offer team support with other departments like mechanical, electrical, outfitting and steel.
• Able to read & understand ISO, Co-ordination and Schematic drawings on various system onboard ships.
