My name is Femi Ogunode. The intent of this letter is to explore the possible sponsorship opportunities within your company in order to realize my goal.
I am a track and field sprinter who competes internationally for Qatar. My success started in 2010 when I made my international debut for Qatar at the 2010 Asian Games and won a 200 meters/400 meters double. The following year I won Asian and Arab titles over 200 m as well as 100 meters/200 m sprint titles at the 2011 Military World Games. I was a finalist in the 400 m at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics. I won my second career double at the Asian Games in 2014, this time in the 100 m/200 m; I made a major breakthrough by setting an Asian record of 9.93 seconds. I also won bronze medals at a global level that year at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships and 2014 IAAF Continental Cup.
In addition to my main achievements, I improved my Asian record to 9.91 to win the 100 m at the 2015 Asian Athletics Championships which currently makes me the fastest man in the Asian Continent.
I was awarded the best Asian male athlete in October 2015 by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) Awards 2015 which took place at the DAR Constitution Hall – one of the most iconic venues in Washington DC. USA.
I was recognized and awarded by the All African Athletics Union (AAAU) awards 2015 as the fastest growing athlete in the world in South Africa.
In order to give back, I started a foundation, (FSO Foundation). Femi Seun Ogunode Foundation with aspiration intent to help as many youngsters with the dream of becoming a professional athlete a reality, by encouraging them to believe in themselves and giving them all the necessary supports.
