Where to take the wife at the weekend?

Hi everyone. This is my first post on here!
Anyway, my wife is coming over to see me (without the kids) to see if she could live here. I am taking her to see lots of places to live and also couple of the English Schools here.
But where can I take her to do a spot of "holiday stuff", sitting by the pool, lunch, quick dip in the sea.

Someone told me that Le Sharq was a day like that. I also fancy the four seasons but can you go to these places for a day out?

Would love your help as I am trying to "Sell" Doha to her to get her tom move out here with me!

Thanks everyone in advance.

Sharq and Intercon are both very nice places. Have been to both and the lunch and facilities are fantastic!

Thanks - I actually called them and they advised 250QR to get in ans that includes food (salads and sandwiches) also drinks (I assume soft drinks). Pretty good I thought. If anyone has been for the day and can tell me how good it is that wold be great.

Thanks

Thanks guys. I thought Al Sharq but coud not find much info on it. Is it as plush as the four seasons?

Wat do yo get for your money at Al Sharq? Is it just a entry?

Sorry if I am being thick.

sure you can go to any Hotel's resort... like Intercontinental, Ritz Carlton, Al Sharq, now new hotel Grand Hayatt ( was not really impressed though, also some facilities are still under construction). Take her to souk in the evening...Tae her to the desert for the dune bashing adventure..

you can do a say pass at sharq and also intercon. If you are going for impress then sharq is best in my opinion. I think its around 200 per person for the day entrance.
