Iftar Drive
Dear Volunteers,
I am pleased to announce the kick start of one of our most popular ‘Iftar Drive’. I am sure you all will be very excited about the Iftar Drive Campaign.
Before I go into the details of the Event, I would like to inform you all that I will be out of town during this event, but our QV committee members will be taking care of Iftar drive this year. I expect your full support and cooperation.

Due to huge number of request by Volunteers that they wish to donate Iftar items for the Blessed Month of Ramadan, therefore, we have decided not to approach any sponsor this time.
I hereby request all the volunteers to donate generously for this noble cause.
Those who want to join for helping in packing and distribution only are also welcomed.
The venue provider for this year’s Event is “Nero Bianco” The snooker and Billiards Parlor situated next to Pizza Hut’s old airport branch.
Dates for the Events are as follows:
-Collection day - Thursday 9th Aug 2012 (from 2:00pm to 6:00pm)
-Packing day -Friday 10th Aug 2012 (from 2:00pm to 6:00pm)
-Distribution day – Saturday 11th Aug 2012 (3:30pm Assembly time (sharp))
List of the required items to be donated by the volunteers:
1-350ml water bottles
2-150ml bottles of assorted juices
3-Dates (Crown or Al Madina) small packets
4-Small twister bags (Zipper bags (size 260 L x 180) to pack the items)
5-Mamool biscuits
NOTE: Please be advised that due to limited space in the packing bags, no other random items will be accepted without prior approvals.
Please confirm the quantity of the item/s you would like to donate over the phone/ thru private message or post your comments here before you make a purchase.
Our target for this year is to have at least 3000 goodie bags to be distributed on Ramada, The Abu Hamor and at the Airport (Family Food) intersections.
What we need from You:
1)You along with number of your family/ friend(s) confirmation on above dates (for Packing and Distribution only)
2)Your contact details such as Mobile number and email address thru private message on FB/ILQ or QL.
3) What item and how much Quantity you are willing to donate.
4)If you have a vehicle, please confirm you will come in your vehicle, since we need few vehicles to transport ‘Iftar Packets’ and Volunteers to the distribution points.
