By end of Heat Wave Campaing QRC will provide the followings to all the Volunteers:
1) Per diem Allowance (To cover Meal and Transport)
2) Appericiation Certificate
3) Caps, T-shirts OR toppers for Volunteers

After the success of the 'Cool Campaign' by QLVG and ILQ-VG. Still many individuals and Companies are approaching us to do the 2nd round of 'Cool Campaign' because of the Hot weather. : http://www.qatarliving.com/node/1156535
Yesterday some of QLVG members were invited to attend the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) meeting in their office. The purpose of the meeting was to call all the Volunteers to join hands with QRCS to support their 'Heat wave Awareness Campaign'.
Since the mission of QLVG, ILQ-VG and QRCS mission is the same. Therefore, we have decided to combine QLVG/ ILQ-VG Campaigns with QRCS 'Heat Wave Awareness Campaign'.
Distribution Start date : 24th July 2010, 31st July. 2010 and 7th Aug. 2010 (All 3 Saturdays)
Qatar Red Crescent Society office
Location: Corniche (Just behind Old Movenpick Hotel - Museum Street)
Time: 7:30AM - 10:30AM
Anyone can donate following items required for the Campaign:
1) Heat Wave Awareness Posters in different Languages (by QRC)
2) Distribution of Assorted Juices (Small bottles)/ Water bottles (500ml only)
3) Caps, T-shirts
4) Wet Towels
5) Water Coolers
6) CASH to be donated to QRCS office directly.
Since QRCS is official Charity organization, you can drop your CASH donation to QRCS office for the 'Heat Wave Awareness Campaign' and get the receipt. All the cash/ items collected will be used for this Campaign only.
I request all the kind hearted people to come forward and donate generously and provide some relieve to those workers working under the sun. Those who are willing to donate any of the above item(s) please bring your donation to our collection point at :
