Fenerbahce Make New Adriano Offer
Sources in Italy and Turkey contend that Fenerbahce have made a 5 million euro offer to bring Adriano to Istanbul in the January transfer window...
zoom - galleria Adriano's time at Inter looks to be coming to a close and, with that in mind, Turkish giants Fenerbahce are said to have made an offer for the Brazilian.
The striker is understood to be free to leave the San Siro and, with Fenerbahce likely to match his wages of 5 million euros per annum, he could be tempted by a switch to the East.
Inter, meanwhile, would also receive 5 million euros by way of a transfer fee; a low amount for a player of such renown, perhaps, but maybe fitting given his lack of action in recent times.
Adriano, ostracised both from Inter's European squad and from the squad for Sunday night's meeting with Juventus, is clearly out of favour with boss Roberto Mancini, who is equally apparent to be tired of all the drama.
"Why isn't Adriano here in Turin? Because we decided together. That's why," he told the press with no small measure of irritation.
Fenerbahce are attracted by the prospect of landing Adriano, who is not restricted in European competition this season, based on his tremendous goalscoring record with Flamengo, Fiorentina, Parma, and, of course, Inter.
Inter and Fenerbahce share a Champions League group, the Istanbul side running out 1-0 winners at the Sukru Saracoglu earlier in the campaign
