Exchanging and Lending Urdu Books - Guzergah-e-khayal Group

Most of us go crazy being tethered to our desks all day and when we are relaxed and at a loose end, we might want to have some entertainment. How nice would it be if that entertainment has connotation to the personal development in addition to the knowledge enhancement and self-empowerment. Other than the mere entertainment something deeper is involved i.e it will help people develop interest in Urdu literature. I thought up an idea.. well.. not I exactly, Frozen Tears of Love suggested about setting up a library. I'm not sure how does it strike others. I'm convinced that it's a wonderful idea. We can exchange books and lend books to others for their reading. This does not call for setting up a conventional physical library facility rather just lending books (not giving away) to others who are genuinely interested. I have got a plenty of books and volunteer to lend them. And I am not alone, there are more people into it who are ready to contribute. I have had a conversation this evening with sfd24, who is a very good poet and a literary person, has assured that he would help in sourcing the books and assist in setting up the mechanics for lending and exchanging books. I feel this will truly be a blessing for the people who have interest in literature but feel cramped and suffocated in the atmosphere here which is more of a non-reading type. I would like to see how public minds work on this prospect.
Regards,
