The GFB 24 Performance Camp

In collaboration with Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF), the FAME Sports Academy is organizing an international camp catered towards the need of basketball players and athletes from December 19 to 23 this year.

Players of both genders from the age of 10 to 18 in the country will have the opportunity to learn and improve their basketball abilities, with players being divided into different groups based on age and skill during the five-day camp.

Gigi Brown, also known as GIGI IN THE PLACE TO BE, will also be present during this special camp and offer her expert knowledge, and individualized training based on basketball-specific goals.

The program will take athletes to a new level of performance and confidence, focusing on S.A.R.Q (Speed, Agility, Reactivity, and Quickness), Explosive Jumping Ability, Core Strength, Balance & Coordination, Joint Mobility, Functional Training, Ball-handling & Ball Control, Defense, Shooting, Mental Performance, Post-Perimeter-Guard Position, and Nutritional Performance.

The FAME Sports Academy aims to introduce drills and skills that will enable players to reach the professional level while applying the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship.

In addition to offering quality health and fitness training, it also aims to focus on the development of the youth and the basketball community.

Moreover, B.O.D.I NOW (Better Of Doing It Now) and NBPA (National Basketball Player Association) are official partners of this camp.

The following is the tentative agenda for the camp: 

Day 1, December 19:

Coaches’ preparation meeting at 8 am. 

Morning session from 9 am to 12 pm. 

Evening session from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Day 2, December 20:

Morning session from 9 am until 12 pm.

Evening session from 3 pm until 6 pm. 

Day 3, December 21:

Morning Session from 9 am until 12 pm. 

Evening session from 3 pm until 6 pm. 

Day 4, December 22:

Morning Session from 9 am until 12 pm.

Evening session from 3 pm until 6 pm. 

Day 5, December 23:

Closing session from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm.

Closing ceremony from 5 pm until 6:30 pm (certificates and awards).
