Block visa and work visa
Dear All,
I am from Pakistan. Recently i got a job from one of the prestigious orginization in Qatar. They have applied for the Block Visa for me but its being almost 40 days since they have applied for it. Any idea how long does it take to get the block visa approval from the ministry?
Further, once i get the block visa, so will i have to directly apply for work visa through Qatar Visa Center or will it be arrange by my employer? And how long will that process will further take?

How many days will it take to get the block visa? I believe even your company will not be able to answer this question. As such, you will need to be just patient, that's all.
Once the visa gets issued, your company would guide on the next steps. It takes hardly a day or two to complete the rest of the formalities.
