The Cabinet’s meeting took place at the Amiri Diwan and it was communicated that this decision will go into effect as of Thursday, April 29, 2021, until further notice.
The Ministry of Public health (MoPH) had also communicated the updated list of approved private health facilities for the PCR test in Qatar.
Moreover, it was agreed that previous precautionary measures taken in order to combat the COVID-19 pandemic will continue.
During the meeting, the Cabinet had also approved a draft law on the measures related to the FIFA World Cup 2022, which was then referred to the Shura Council.
MoPH has unified prices of COVID-19 tests across private health facilities in Qatar. The cost of a COVID-19 test in private health facilities has been determined at a fixed rate of QAR 300.
