
Doha Metro reduces the capacity to 20% on Fridays and Saturdays

As Qatar intensifies its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the country is set to implement a series of additional measures to curb the spread of the virus.
The Cabinet took this decision on Wednesday in its regular meeting; chaired by His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.
To protect the health and safety of all members of society, the Cabinet decided to reduce the capacity of Doha Metro services to 20 percent on Fridays and Saturdays.
Doha Metro tweeted that queuing arrangements may be in operation at the stations to control access during the busier times.

Social distancing measures remain in place and the consumption of food and beverages on the network remains prohibited.
