FM holds telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State
Qatar and the US have always maintained strong bilateral relations. In a bid to further cement ties the two nations have continued to partner across various domains including defense, energy, air transport, among others.
In September last year, at the 3rd Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue, the two friendly nations vowed to further strengthen not only their existing economic, military and security cooperation but also work together in other areas of importance such as education, culture, and development.
As a reflection of the flourishing relations between Qatar and the US, this year is being celebrated as Qatar-US 2021 Year of Culture.
As the two countries look at further consolidating ties, His Excellency Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a telephonic conversation with HE the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken yesterday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister held a phone call with US Secretary of State. They reviewed bilateral cooperation relations, ways to enhance them, especially in political and economic fields, and developments in Libya, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, and Palestinian elections. #QNA

The two parties discussed Qatar-US relations and looked into ways of bolstering them, particularly in the fields of politics and economy.
They also spoke about a number of issues in Libya, Yemen, Iran, and Iraq, as well as the Palestinian elections.
HE Qatar's FM wished HE the US Secretary of State success in the responsibilities under his role.
