QF invites parents to uniquely explore its diverse range of school offerings
Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Pre-University Education (PUE) is organizing a virtual event that will showcase its diverse range of school offerings for children.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet representatives from all 15 schools within the QF’s educational ecosystem and learn more about its academic landscape from a series of webinars.
The ‘Discover PUE’ virtual event is designed to provide parents with information and insights into QF’s wide range of schools and specialized centers at the safety of their home.
The interactive event will also allow them to hear from alumni of QF’s schools and how they are still part of the PUE community.
“Through Discover PUE, we are opening up our schools to parents in a virtual form so they can find out for themselves how an education at QF cultivates a child’s talents and capabilities, empowers them to become a lifelong learner, and sets them on the path to realizing their full potential,” said Vicki Wright, Head of Admissions at PUE.
“This is an opportunity to hear from our team of specialist educators how our schools support children not only to learn in an educational environment of the highest quality, but also to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Discover PUE will also showcase how enrolling your child in a QF school makes them part of a diverse, inclusive community that preserves and nurtures Qatari culture and values.
“As parents consider where to enroll their children for the next academic year, Discover PUE will give them a truly immersive, interactive experience of what QF’s schools offer, how they energize young minds, and the role they play in equipping the children of our country to explore, discover, create, and thrive.”
As well as parents, Discover PUE is open to carers, educators, and anyone who would like to find out more about pre-university education at QF.
Those attending will also have access to 19 booths and be able to chat with representatives from specialized PUE departments and centers, including the Education Development Institute, The Learning Center, THIMUN Qatar, the Admissions team, and the Academic Affairs department, which includes co-curricular and extramural activities and support for gifted students.
Meanwhile, topics covered by the event’s series of 10 live webinars, all of which will allow those attending to pose questions to PUE educators, will include inclusive learning models, the International Baccalaureate, dual language learning, progressive education, and parental engagement.
To register for Discover PUE, visit www.discoverpue.vfairs.com. Once registered, a confirmation email with login details will be provided by email, and attendees may log in and out during the day as many times as they wish.
For those who cannot attend on the day, registration will allow the webinars to be viewed from January 13 to February 13.
