It is a popular thought that changing your study space possibly increases your productivity, learning, and recall abilities. We have also found this activity quite helpful when studying during the exam season. Therefore, here are some spots in Qatar where you can have the mind boosting experience of learning and studying during the exam season.
Qatar National Library
It is not just a regular library; this is the Qatar National Library (QNL) which offers the best study experience in Qatar. Whether you are at the Library to study, work, research, or just relax with a book, you’ll find the space you need. The Library has a variety of reading and study areas, from open tables and reading rooms equipped with lights, power outlets, and internet points, to private seating areas between the bookshelves, with sofas, seating cubes, and benches. There are also 28 study carrels that serve as quiet spaces for individual study, each equipped with a desk, a bookcase, and power outlets. Free Wi-Fi is available, you have to log in to ''QNL- Guest''.
The library also has prayer rooms and a café/restaurant. Additionally, the Qatar National Library-Metro station (Green Line) is within walking distance from the library, making it easier for students to commute to and from the place.
Opening Hours: Sunday- Thursday 8:00 am- 8:00 pm
Note: Due to Covid-19, the library visit will be accepted by appointment only. Visitors will be allowed under the following conditions:
- Have a confirmation of their slot booking.
- Have a green status on the Ehteraz application.
- Have a face mask or shield.

Museum of Islamic Art Library
Yes! This beautiful museum standing in one of the exotic locations in Doha has a library that offers space for studying and learning. The library is on Level 1 in the Education Centre of the museum. The entrance to the library is through the doors in the central courtyard. The library also offers outdoor seating in the cooler months. A copier/scanner is provided at no charge with limited copying and scanning services by approval from library staff. There are 9 study rooms available, but arrangements must be made in advance to reserve them. You can bring in your learning devices (laptops, tablets, etc.) as the computer equipment at the library might not be sufficient. Free Wi-Fi is available in the library.
Opening Hours: Saturday- Thursday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and Fridays: 1:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Contact the library to reserve a study room at least 24 hours prior to the planned visit.

Caribou Coffee
If you do not feel like sitting in a library environment then the best coffee outlets with no issues of free Wi-fi and power outlets have to be the following outlets of Caribou Coffee. It is a preferred spot for many students to hold group studies, individual studies, or to work on presentations. Following are the best branches according to the students here:

This café offers great views close to greenery and access to some really cool artworks as it is located in the location of Old fire-station art gallery, a place almost dedicated for arts and creative enthusiasts. The café has an eye-soothing, spacious and quiet place for students to study and for business meetings. The interior is modern and urban with outdoor seating. The outdoor area allows for privacy and is perfect for a meeting or studying individually or with friends. The café also offers free Wi-fi.

Starbucks
Yes, the good old Starbucks you might have been waiting for in this list, the coffeehouse chain known for its signature frappes, roasts, light bites, and the environment to study individually or in groups. There is free Wi-Fi availability with several power points for you to charge your devices. There are many branches and the following are the ones which the students prefer:
