Al Meera opens doors of its latest branch at The Mall

Al Meera Consumer Goods Company has announced the opening of its latest branch at The Mall.
The new store is an important milestone in Al Meera’s ambitious expansion plan and brings its total number of stores to 55 across different localities in Qatar.
The opening didn’t take place as a usual media event due to the current situation and in line with the country’s precautionary measures taken to avoid the COVID-19 spread.
However, the CEO, Mr. Yousef Ali Al Obaidan and Central Municipal Council Member, Sheikha Al Jufairi were present on the occasion.
Spreading across more than 1,800 sq.m., the new branch takes Al Meera’s rigorous quality and seamlessly integrated shopping experience to a new neighborhood.
The retail giant has opened its doors on the strategically located The Mall on D-Ring road facing Al-Ahli stadium.
The new branch will allow convenient access to goods and products for visitors to the mall amid today's challenging times, given the COVID-19 situation.
Commenting on the occasion, the company stated, "The Al Meera expansion strategy merges world-class customer service, high-quality, locally sourced and imported fresh produce to every neighborhood. The layout of the store follows Al Meera’s design to facilitate intelligent shopping and offer the best shopping experience to customers. With unmatched value, we strive to serve vital and underserved areas across Qatar."
Al Meera is currently pursuing a strategic growth plan which will see a slew of branch openings in upcoming localities.
The supermarket chain is working in close coordination with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to further contribute to the development and urbanization of more districts and territories in Qatar.
Meanwhile, health authorities in Qatar continue to implement the highest level of monitoring, detection, and management procedures to deal with the virus, the public has been advised to follow certain measures to safeguard their health.
