Qatar sees huge drop in fuel prices for April 2020
Qatar Petroleum (QP) today issued the latest price list for all kinds of fuel in Qatar.
Effective from April 1, the list reflects a mega drop in fuel prices. The new prices have been the lowest in almost four years.
According to the list, one liter of Premium Gasoline will be available for QR 1.25 from April 1. This price is 35 dirhams less than the per liter price of Premium Gasoline set for March 2020.
Similarly, from tomorrow, Super Gasoline can be purchased for QR 1.35 per liter, 35 dirhams less than the price of the current month.
The price of diesel for the month of April will be QR 1.30 per liter, marking a difference of 40 dirhams from its price in March 2020.
Earlier, March had also witnessed a noticeable decrease in fuel prices. While, in February, the price of diesel was decreased for the first time since September 2019.
QP has been announcing the monthly fuel price list since September 2017.
When the first list was announced in June 2016 the premium petrol was QR1.20 per liter, super QR1.30 per liter and diesel QR1.40 per liter.
