Hello,
I have just recently moved to Doha. I have left behind in Sydney Australia my beloved Bichon Frise x Toy Poodle dog aged 13 years, due to her age. My 7 year old daughter is heartbroken. So we have decided that we will purchase a new puppy for my daughter. Our problem is, that we can not find a Bichon Frise, toy poodle or Maltese puppy in Doha. There are various and plentiful ads for Maltese pups. However, I have realised that they are all scams. They are all located in UAE or Ukraine. They all offer free to good home and ask for around QR900 to cover transportation costs. I had a look at the Pet Souq in Souq Waqif. Whilst there are lots of Maltese puppies there, I am appalled and broken hearted to see the way these puppies are treated. They look unwell and are crammed in tiny cages with other dogs. They are frightened and suffering and I am sure very unhealthy. I have contacted many vets but they only seem to have Saloki dogs and no pups of the wool kind. I also contacted Qaws but they do not have any puppies.
Please, I need your help. Where in Qatar can I find a reputable breeder or vet that have small wool pups for sale? . I can only have a small or tiny dog in my living quarters. Is there a country close by that you could recommend where I could perhaps fly to and purchase a good quality puppy? I really appreciate your assistance. Thank you and regards.
did you find it? actually we want Poodle.. If you find pls tell me dear.
Rina, What is the status now ?
I don't agree.
There is one problem which has no solution: How to stop Molten Metal from posting rubbish at QL.
Rina, Welcome to Qatar ....... There is a solution for each and every issue in our lives ....... Be patient ...... We are here to help, guide and support ...... Good luck .....
From time to time people do put up posts at QL with regards to handing over their pets when such people are leaving Qatar for good. Suggest, you be a bit patient and wait for such ads. Sooner or later, you will find a dog of your choice.
As for getting one from a neighboring country, I am not sure if you could do that. It may involve a lot of hassle. Possibly some QLer may be in a position to guide you on this.
