Al Wasmi Gardens Festival
Adding to the series of fascinating events being held in Qatar since the start of the New Year, another unique festival, Al Wasmi Gardens Festival is set to open tomorrow at Katara Cultural Village.
The five-day festival will especially be a treat for nature lovers, as it will feature gardens inspired by various countries across the globe.
Visitors will be able to delight in a "beautiful array of garden designs, flowers, and plants,” according to a statement by Katara.
A Qatar Airways (QA) French Garden, designed in partnership with the airline as a sponsor to celebrate the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture will also be one of the highlights of the festival.
Adults and children will be able to participate in the festival’s diverse range of activities and attractions such as treasure hunts, food, and beverage stalls, floral art and craft workshops, and live entertainment, among others.
As visitors make their way through the festival they will come across picturesque views of different gardens including the Tropical Garden, Japanese Garden, and the Indian Garden.
The festival will go on until February 22 and will be open to the public every day from 10 am to 10 pm.
