It is that time of year again with the return of the incredible Ajyal Film Festival! The event is all set to run from November 18 to 23 at Katara Cultural Village.

Over the course of six event-packed days, you can enjoy some of the very best in international family-friendly cinema. The programme will include compelling dramas, captivating documentaries, and entertaining comedies. There really is something for everyone and all ages to enjoy.

Opening night film is from award-winning Palestinian auteur Elia Suleiman. Winner of the Jury Special Mention and FIPRESCI Critics’ Award at last May’s Cannes Film Festival, and Palestine’s entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Award, It Must Be Heaven is a comic saga exploring identity, nationality, and belonging, in which Suleiman asks the fundamental question: where is the place we can truly call home?

And finally, get ready to embrace your inner nerd with the return of Qatar’s largest pop-culture event, Geekdom in partnership with Qatar National Tourism Council.
